Overview
The purpose of the contacts tab is to establish the individuals authorized in communications on behalf of the company. Contacts are identified by Contact Type. These types are used to associate the contact with a particular function. A Company Administrator has the ability to maintain Company Contacts.
Contact Info Subtab
Adding New Contacts
Click the Save/Add New button at the bottom of the screen.
- First Name: The First Name of the contact.
- Last Name: The Last Name of the contact.
- Contact Type: Choose the type of contact as applicable.
- Title: Enter the title of the contact.
- Nickname: Nickname of the contact.
- Email Address: Work email address of the contact.
- Other Email: Alternate EMail for the contact.
- Contact 1,2, or 3: Used to assign primary contacts. Contact 1 is addressed with delivery and tax reports.
- Work Phone: Work Phone of the contact.
- Cell Phone: Cell Phone number of the contact.
- Cell Provider: Used if text messages are chosen.
- Fax: Fax number of the contact.
- Active: Used to indicate if the contact is currently active for the company.
- Is Primary Contact: Used to identify the primary contact.
- Allow Text Messages: Indicates if contact may receive text messages.
- Owner: Indicates the owner of the company.
Subscriptions
The Subscriptions Sub Tab allows for contacts to receive various notifications from the service bureau. To include a subscription, check the subscribe box and choose the notification method. Text messaging is available for payroll reminders. To enable, both the cell provider and allow text messages must be employed.
